The Indianapolis Star headline on Saturday’s edition read:

Nearly 1 In 10 Jobless In State

To make matters worse, the Indiana state unemployment fund is bankrupt & racking up $3 Million in debt evey day. A local news station in central Indiana just reported that Hoosiers are accumulating $100,000 an hour in debt.

Jobless Fund Could Take Decades To Fix

For many years, we have watched Indiana hover around the top 10 for obesity with the likes of other financially stricken states like Mississippi #1, West Virginia #2, and Alabama #3. Could this mean that our obesity rank could be on the way up? Will we choose lower quality / cheaper foods? Will we scale back on fresh fruits and vegetables and eat processed or fast food fillers?

Throw out the fry-daddy… I am sick of this! There has to be a better way.
